What the nursery day looks like

The nursery day is structured to provide children with predictability, security and calm. In the morning, arrival is handled in a calm and individualised way, respecting each child’s pace and needs, and helping to create a smooth transition between family life and the educational setting.

Throughout the day, moments of free play alternate with guided activities, encouraging exploration, learning and the development of skills. These experiences are interwoven with essential routines such as meals, hygiene and nap time, all of which are fundamental to each child’s balance and wellbeing.

Meals are prepared at the school, ensuring fresh and balanced food every day, as part of the school’s educational care. Nap time is respected as an essential moment for restoring energy and is supported with close attention and sensitivity to each child’s individual rhythm.

Essential skills

In nursery, wellbeing and each child’s overall development are the priority, always respecting their individual pace and needs.

We promote essential areas such as language, motor development, autonomy and socialisation through age-appropriate experiences, in a safe, caring and welcoming environment, with close support from the team.

The nursery also includes activities such as Gymnastics and Music, which encourage motor development, creativity, expression and a love of learning from an early age.

Settling in and relationship with parents

Settling into nursery is a gradual process, designed to respect the rhythm of each child and their family. In the first few days, integration happens progressively, with shorter periods of attendance, allowing the child to become familiar with the new environment, the adults around them and the daily routines.

Throughout this period, the educational team maintains close communication with the family, sharing information and ensuring individualised support. This communication is also facilitated through the digital platform, which allows regular contact and the sharing of relevant information. The aim is to create an atmosphere of trust, security and care, promoting a calm and positive transition for everyone.

“Each child should be welcomed in their individuality.”
