Each child is unique
From nursery to preschool and through to primary school, we provide a safe and stimulating environment where learning is a natural experience. We believe in the child’s holistic development – emotional, social and academic – with close support and a relationship of trust with families.
Throughout the educational journey, we value curiosity, autonomy and respect for each pupil’s individual pace. We promote active learning and a love of discovery, so that every child grows with strong foundations, confidence and a desire to keep learning.

With nearly 70 years of history, Colégio Luso-Suíço is now a recognised educational reference in Lisbon, combining pedagogical quality with a family-oriented environment. We believe in a school that helps shape curious, responsible and confident pupils – prepared for academic challenges and for life in a community.

A family-oriented school
Colégio Luso-Suíço was founded in 1947 with the purpose of offering a close, child-centred education built around a strong relationship with families. Over the years, we have remained true to that same identity: a welcoming environment, a dedicated team and an educational journey designed to support each stage of a child’s growth.
Our Pedagogical Project is organised around an overarching theme and an annual sub-theme, which guide experiences and learning throughout the school year.
