Ballet
Classical ballet is probably the best training for any type of dance. Its basic principles are:
- verticality
- discipline
- lightness
- harmony
- symmetry
- rhythm
- flexibility
Ballet and children
Ballet stimulates the development of fundamental motor skills, control, and discipline, as well as musicality and creativity, and contributes to improved concentration. It promotes good posture and self-esteem, and introduces children to body expression and other forms of art.
